Those who book home construction at the event will receive an additional interest rate discount of 20 satang from the normal loan rate (subject to bank conditions) and can secure 100% financing for the home price as per the contract from six leading banks, along with over 50 insurance companies and construction-related firms nationwide, as well as experts providing consultations for those planning to build on their own land, making the home building process easier.

The association is confident that this event will receive a positive response, aiming to stimulate consumer purchasing power in three groups: first, those seeking information to decide on building their first home on their own land; second, those who have plans to build but have delayed their decisions due to economic conditions and interest rates; and third, those interested in new construction material innovations and seeking loan consultations with banks.

Regarding the home building market trend in the fourth quarter of 2024, the association believes that the promotional factors from the 'Home Building and Materials Expo 2024', along with the tax deduction measures for home building '10,000 per million', which allows personal income tax deductions for those wanting to build a home valued at 1 million baht, deducting 10,000 baht, with a maximum of 100,000 baht, for contracts signed and construction started from April 9, 2024, to December 31, 2025, will only be deductible based on actual construction costs as per the contract. The new government is also expected to boost consumer confidence, making it easier for them to plan home construction.

“The second half of every year is the high season for the home building market, making it a great opportunity to accelerate marketing efforts and encourage consumers to decide to build homes more quickly. Not only will they receive special pricing discounts from home building companies, but they will also benefit from special interest rates on home construction loans, along with packed special offers at the event,” Mr. Olar added.

The association aims for a total contract signing value of 4.5 billion baht over the five days of the event, with an expected attendance of 15,000 people. This is anticipated to result in a total contract signing value for association members at the end of 2024 of 12 billion baht, with a market share of 65% in Bangkok and its vicinity and 35% in other provinces.
